2day - Mornington Peninsula
You will meet our friendly group leaders, and other students at a single pickup point in Melbourne CBD before departing on a large bus. As a group we will travel down to the Peninsula arriving in Mornington Peninsula for some indigenous welcome to country. We plan to be met by an Aboriginal cultural representative to receive a short indigenous welcome to the local Bunurong country.

Enjoy fully guided nature walk by a local cultural officer, exploring Bushrangers Bay arriving at the Cape Schanck Lighthouse. We'll then head to the accommodation (indoor) to spend the night and explore Portsea Pier. Where we'll spend some time playing beach cricket and have some free time to explore here.

Day 2 will consist of exploring the beautiful Mornington Peninsula coastal environments, then experience either a standup paddle-boarding activity or a mountain biking activity (depending on the conditions) around the coastline. We will also contribute to the local community, such as helping the locals in a beach clean-up in the area before we continue our journey to Fort Nepean to learn more about its history, explore the historical buildings and enjoy the breathtaking landscape the Peninsula has to offer.

We will finish the trip in a beautiful scenic location at Arthurs Seat lookout where we will explore the local area and wildlife and capture some incredible last moments as a group. You will make lots of friends with students from other campuses and enjoy and incredible time together.

"I had an amazing time with rock climbing and the hikes. It was amazing to meet people from around 22 different countries. I enjoyed the moment we had in the campfire eating roasted marshmallows. I loved learning some salsa from fellow Columbian and Chile students and learning different languages and cultures. I had an amazing time and hoping to come back for more trips."
